A few years ago I was scrolling my Instagram and cringed yet again. The cringe was something I’d grown accustomed to but never stopped to think why.
As a graphic designer I knew how important good branding was… I knew that when people saw my client’s Instagram posts they would be making snap judgements about whether they wanted to work with them (or not), how much they charged and how professional their product/service was.
I knew that design was literally make or break for a lot of businesses.
And that’s why I cringed. As I scrolled my Instagram I saw so many businesses looking tacky, unprofessional and hard-to-understand (and sometimes, just ugly). So many business owners were creating their own graphics - but they were ruining their chance at success at the same time.
It had to stop. So, instead of trying to design for more business owners and somehow lowering my prices to the point they’d have the funds to hire me to make ALL their graphics (but I might not make a living!)... I decided instead to flip my business on its head.
Instead of BEING the designer, it was time to TEACH business owners all the skills they need to create their own beautiful AND successful business graphics.
Since then I’ve coached over 200 business owners to create their own beautiful brand and graphics through courses, masterminds and on my podcast.
